The Pacific Northwest has been the focus of much national attention in the 90's, from its progressive arts scene, to the rise of the Microsoft Corportation and other hi-tech and bio-tech industries in the "Silicon Valley of the North." Its strong economy and the increased demand for local real estate has made its property a good investment.

There's Discovery Park, a 534-acre park which supports four habitats--forest, meadows, saltwater and freshwater--and is kept wild for an urban wilderness experience. Wallingford's Gas Works Park is the first public park built from a recycled industrial plant. With abundant parks and water and the mountains nearby, recreation is also popular. You can enjoy hiking, biking, skiing and boating, all within an hour-and-a-half drive. And our area also has a beautiful, temperate climate. Summers here are particularly wonderful, with comfortable temperatures, little humidity and plenty of greenery.
