Seattle City Information

The Pacific Northwest has been the focus of much national attention in the 90's, from its progressive arts scene, to the rise of the Microsoft Corportation and other hi-tech and bio-tech industries in the "Silicon Valley of the North." Its strong economy and the increased demand for local real estate has made its property a good investment.

Opportunities abound here, from employment, to recreation, to the offerings of the surrounding environs. Local employers include aerospace giant Boeing, retailer Nordstrom, as well as Price Costco, Weyerhaeuser, US West Communications, and Fred Meyer Inc. More and more corporations are calling our backyard home.

Pike Place Market Nestled among the metropolis are plenty of parks as well. There's Discovery Park, a 534-acre park which supports four habitats--forest, meadows, saltwater and freshwater--and is kept wild for an urban wilderness experience. Wallingford's Gas Works Park is the first public park built from a recycled industrial plant. With abundant parks and water and the mountains nearby, recreation is also popular. You can enjoy hiking, biking, skiing and boating, all within an hour-and-a-half drive. And our area also has a beautiful, temperate climate. Summers here are particularly wonderful, with comfortable temperatures, little humidity and plenty of greenery.
